The Sensors Training Systems are designed to familiarize students with the operation of various types of sensors. They contain a selection of photoelectric, inductive, and capacitive sensors representative of what can be found in the industry. The training systems provide a comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective solution to rapidly build student knowledge in sensors.
Each sensor is mounted on a flexible support attached to a metal base which can be snapped into the perforations of a work surface. A wooden block, on which reflectors have been added, is used to observe the characteristics of each sensor.
The sensor inputs and outputs are accessible through banana jacks, allowing for easy system setup. The sensors are protected against bad connections and reverse polarity, and are identified with the proper symbol on their base. All components meet industrial safety standards.
One of the Sensors Training Systems is an add-on to the Electrical Control of Hydraulic Systems, Model 6080-2, and Electrical Control of Pneumatic Systems, Model 6081-2, while the other is a stand-alone system.
