Description

The Air Conditioner Skills Trainer includes the basic components of a typical air conditioning unit. The trainer includes a hermetic compressor, forced-air condenser, liquid receiver, filter dryer, moisture/liquid indicator, thermostatic expansion valve, blower-type forcedair evaporator, temperature controller, and pressure controller. The control panel includes a variable evaporator fan speed control, indicator light, compressor switch, power switch, and power breaker.

The Air Conditioner Skills Trainer is designed to teach the basic skills of wiring, piping, evacuating, charging, testing and troubleshooting. It is designed to be assembled, tested, and disassembled by one or two students performing a series of tasks.
