Microwave Technology Training System, Standard Model 8090-0
This system covers the principles of microwave signals and their propagation; the construction and operation of microwave components; and the techniques used to measure power, attenuation, SWR, and impedance.
The experiments are performed by using the provided microwave measurement equipment (SWR Meter, Power Meter, and Thermistor Mount). The Instructor Guide is designed to help instructors prepare the theoretical courses and laboratory periods of the Student Manual Microwave Fundamentals, and includes introductory information, instructional plans, demonstrations, and presentation aids.
Complete Microwave Technology Training System: Model 8090-2
This system includes the entire standard Microwave Technology Training System, Model 8090-0 plus a PIN Diode, a Hybrid Tee, a Video Amplifier, and a PIN Diode/RF Oscillator Controller.
The courseware covers all the material of Microwave Fundamentals and further expands on microwave technologies with the inclusion of microwave tees, PIN diodes, and applications. Furthermore, students implement and test a wireless video transmission system that uses a PIN diode as a microwave AM modulator.
Microwave Variable-Frequency Measurements and Applications, ADD-ON Model 8090-3
This Add-On to the Complete Microwave Technology Training System: Model 8090-2 consists of a Voltage Controlled RF Oscillator, a Resonant-Cavity Frequency Meter, and a storage box that hangs on either side of the Storage Tray.
The accompanying courseware permits the studying of microwave variable-frequency measurements and applications.
Microwave Technology Training System, Standard, without measurement equipment, Model 8090-A
The Microwave Technology Training System is available without the standard microwave measurement equipment (that is, without the Lab-Volt SWR Meter, Power Meter, and Thermistor Mount). This system includes all the remaining components of the standard system, Model 8090-0. It also includes the Student Manual Microwave Fundamentals. However, users must provide their own microwave measurement equipment and adapt the experiments accordingly.
Microwave Technology Training System, Basic Model 8090-B
This system includes some of the components of Model 8090-0. It does not include the microwave measurement equipment (SWR Meter, Power Meter, and Thermistor Mount). The accompanying courseware covers part of the Student Manual Microwave Fundamentals.
Experiments are performed with a user-provided digital oscilloscope with signal-averaging function.
