Brief Description of the Problem:
Drivers for the PCI network security device are missing on the CD-ROM.

Full Description of the Problem:
The new network security device card uses a PCI expansion slot. The drivers required for this new card are not included on the CD-ROM.

How to Fix:
Download and run the self-extracting file PF1039.EXE. Refer to the user manual of the affected models to install the PCI drivers for the network security device.

Note: In the procedure given in the user manual, replace the path X:\\Hardlockpci by the folder where you saved the files extracted from file PF1039.EXE. (usually C:\\LABVOLT\\PF1039)

Brief Description of the Problem:
LVSIM-ACOM cannot find the network security device when running under Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Full Description of the Problem:

The communication with the network security device does not work properly when running under Windows 2000 or Windows XP. This may prevent LVSIM-ACOM from accessing the network security device on the server.

How to Fix:
Replace the file TSMODU.DLL in the folder in which LVSIM-ACOM has been installed. The default folder for LVSIM-ACOM is : C:\\LVSIM\\ACOM1_x. The replacement file is available by downloading and running self-extracting file PF1048.EXE

Brief Description of the Problem:
The software cannot find the security device.

Full Description of the Problem:
The security device drivers supplied with the Lab-Volt products mentioned above are not fully compatible with all version of Windows. As a result, the Lab-Volt software may not be able to access the security device.

How to Fix:
Download and save the file haspdinst.exe, start a command prompt window, go the the folder where the file haspdinst.exe is saved and type haspdinst -i to install the drivers.  Note that you Administrator rights are required to install the drivers.
