Computer Base Cabinets (1386)
Computer base cabinets are available in desk (sit-down) and lab (stand-up) configurations to best meet students' needs within the design and space of any classroom or laboratory.
The cabinets are constructed of welded steel and are mounted on a recessed kick riser. Each model features an adjustable shelf with back stop, on which to place the PC so that it is as high and forward as possible in the cabinet. Beneath the shelf holding the tower, space is available for general storage.
The rear of each cabinet is closed and includes large cable access ports at the top and bottom, which also support ventilation of the PC.
In both configurations, the outside width is 11-in. On the desk configuration, the height is 28-in; on the lab configuration, it is 34-in.
Bookcases (41003)
The bookcases feature adjustable shelves and provide auxiliary storage for additional Tech-Design lab resource books, materials and supplies. They are available in four sizes:
Two Shelves: 32" x 32" x 12"
Three Shelves: 32" x 48" x 12"
Four Shelves: 32" x 60" x 12"
Five Shelves: 32" x 72" x 12"
Bookcases (41003)

Single-Door Mobile Cabinet (41002)
The single-door mobile cabinet has one full-length lockable, self-closing door and an adjustable interior shelf. This unit provides a convenient, secure storage space for original software packaging, printer paper and other larger items. It fits under the workspace for easy access and spatial economy.
Utility Table (41004)
The utility table is an ideal mobile unit that provides additional workspace for large module equipment, such as the CNC mill and lathe or the Aerodynamics wind tunnel. The table features two leg assemblies equipped with swivel casters, and a full-length shelf for storing accessories and other materials.
The Utility Table is offered in two sizes:
28" H x 24" W x 65" L
28" H x 30" W x 72" L
Standard Workstation (41500)
This L-shaped unit is designed as a 1/4-quad station, accommodating two students. It can be integrated with additional units to form a 1/2-quad (two stations/4 students), 3/4-quad (three stations/6 students) or full quad (four stations/8 students).
The standard style frame, made of heavyweight material suitable for stationary placement in the lab, includes a lower, polygon-shaped pylon mounted to the work surface and modesty panels.
A Streamline Workstation with steel legs is also available for mobility.
Streamline Workstation (41600)
The streamline style workstation has identical dimensions as the standard style so that components are completely interchangeable. The streamline workstation frame is constructed of a lightweight metal base that allows for more mobility. It features a center leg that provides an opening for wire pass-through at the top, bottom and back.
The Streamline Workstation is pictured with optional Call Light (Model 41000-10).
Inline Workstation (41800)
The Inline Workstation is constructed of the same heavier-weight material as the standard style workstation, but it is unique in its rectangular shape. Several units, configured side-by-side, permit workstations to be positioned "in line."
The inline workstation features a shelf for books and other supplies, and a center console containing power outlets on either side and an on/off power switch on the front.
Work surfaces are laminated and include holes in the back corners to accommodate cables and wiring.
The Inline station is available with lightweight steel leg assemblies for mobilility, or with sturdier leg panels designed for stationary placement in the lab.
Octagonal Table (41007)
This octagonal workstation is designed for comfort, safety and durability. Each table provides ample room for eight students to sit side by side. The table surface is made of smooth, durable material, and is trimmed with an attractive black edging.
Four-Drawer Mobile Cabinet (41001)
The four-drawer cabinet is a convenient lockable mobile storage unit that fits under the workspace for easy access and spatial economy. Each unit has four swivel casters and recessed handles. The cabinet provides an excellent space for storing module supplies, such as pens, rulers and scissors.
