Students well-trained in technical skills will continue to be greatly valued in the 21st century. However, all the training in the world is useless if students are unable to effectively apply their skills in the real-world, business context.
Students need to learn how to work with others while confronting problems, resolving conflicts, and overcoming obstacles. In the Level 1 Interdisciplinary Project — Research, Design, and Manufacturing (IDP) CELL — students get a unique opportunity to participate in various real-world simulations of the manufacturing process.
