Quality Control Level 2 - Tech-World
Ensuring a consistent level of quality is vital to the continued success of any industry. Doing so requires quality control workers who understand and can apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) practices.
Initially, Tech-World students learn about SPC by performing mathematical calculations manually while studying basic statistical concepts, such as the normal curve and standard deviation. Then students apply their measuring and electronic data acquisition skills to work in conjunction with industry-standard statistical process control software.
Through creating and analyzing Attribute and Pareto charts, students learn to evaluate whether a process is in control and capable. With high-level, quality-control skills, combined with the ability to use SPC software, students will be able to transfer their skills easily to meet the demands of the changing business environment.
