Plastics - Tech-Design (40038)
Through the Plastics module, students learn about the past and present uses of plastics and become familiar with the various chemical properties, types, and structures of different plastics.
Students operate a thermoplastic molding machine and an injection molding machine to produce plastic parts. They also examine environmental-related issues.
