How is light used to transmit sound? What is fiber optics? How are codes, data, voice, radio, and light transmitted through optical fibers and over laser beams? The Fiber Optics and Lasers module teaches students about basic concepts of these technologies. Students perform experiments to observe these phenomena, and explore career opportunities in these continuously growing fields.
