Classroom-Management and Course-Customization Tools Maximize Instructors’ Effectiveness

  • Online classroom-management tool automatically tracks and reports students’ progress.
  • Curriculum editing enables instructors to easily add text, audio and video content to any screen.
  • Assessment editing includes pre- and post-tests, competencies and scenario-based assessment grading with rubrics. Instructors also can create tests with linked competencies.
  • Courseware authoring allows for customization of course content and questions, including the addition of regional language. Teachers also can create entirely new learning units.


Minimum Computer Requirements

Students' and instructors' computers need to be 100% compatible PC's with Windows® 98 Second Edition, NT, 2000, Me or XP; Pentium class CPU (Pentium II or newer); 128 MB of RAM; 40 GB hard drive; CD-ROM drive; SVGA monitor and video card capable of 32-bit color and 1024x768 resoultion and sound capabilities.

The Tech-Lab platform is designed for use in a networked environment. However, it can be configured to operate as a stand-alone system in which each computer has the entire curriculum installed onto it. In this "stand-alone" mode, the management system may not be used, and all student progress data would need to be obtained individually from each student station.
