In this module, students explore the exciting and vast field of tourism and leisure activities. Students discover endless job opportunities both at home and abroad in travel and recreation careers. They compare their experiences planning birthday parties, outings with friends, and school dances to the scheduling involved in the tourism industry. Students practice skills required for booking accommodations, handling customer expectations and managing leisure events. Students demonstrate the ability to manage event details including the implementation of safety, security and environmental measures.
