Family Life
This module deals with the diverse perspectives and challenges related to individuals, family, and society. The hands-on activities in this module focus on an appreciation and understanding of the needs and characteristics of families and their individual members. Throughout the lessons in this module, students analyze the ever-changing roles and responsibilities of family members. Students compare the variety of family structures and the family life cycles. Students evaluate the significance of the family unit and analyze its impact on the surrounding environment.

Portions of this site link to traditional recipes, spoken language examples, oral history, and even a report on the game of lacrosse as a tribal tradition. Links to the Oneida's history include facts about the U.S. revolutionary war. It examines important battles, treaties, and much more.
