In this module, students explore the world of fabrics and fashion. They plan a wardrobe to meet their individual needs while examining the social and psychological aspects of fashion. By developing an understanding of style and design elements, students learn to select clothes that make them feel confident and look their best. As students gain skills for judging the quality and fit, they also examine garment labels for care and appropriate use. These acquired skills empower students to become wise clothing consumers. The module also covers the basics of garment construction and repair. Following safety guidelines, students manage notions and equipment.
