Inventing and Innovating
What does it take to be an inventor? How can inventions be protected? And, most important, how do inventions and innovations benefit society? Students will explore these important topics in the Inventing and Innovating module.
Topics include:
- The Importance of Innovation: Students examine changes and trends in all aspects of life that inspire innovation.
- From Innovation to Invention: From studying inventions and their creators, students focus on qualities necessary to embark on inventive projects.
- Protecting Ideas and Inventions: With new product ideas in development, students learn the procedures for protecting their inventions and related ethics.
