Enabling E-commerse
Enabling E-commerce is an interdisciplinary project that connects the skills students learn in the Computer Architecture, Network Systems, and Web Development CELLs. Students work in small groups to expand a store-front business by adding Internet ordering capabilities. Students determine the number and parameters of the computers required, recommend software, lay out the network, determine the network security needs, and design the interactive website. Throughout the project, students learn and practice both business skills and project management skills.
