Semiconductor Fundamentals
After completion of the F.A.C.E.T. programs in AC and DC fundamentals, and AC and DC circuits and analysis, students are ready to proceed to training in Semiconductor Fundamentals. Components in this course include Resistors, Linear Potentiometers, Power Transformers, LED Indicators, Silicon and Zener Diodes, and Bridge Rectifiers.
Following a carefully designed instructional program, students will become familiar with all components of the board; will be able to isolate, identify and test a series of circuits; and will perform troubleshooting exercises to demonstrate mastery of the course objectives.
