IT Fundamentals - Tech-Design (40073)
Students explore the many ways in which IT has revolutionized businesses, has changed several aspects of our lifestyles, and could affect the environment. They develop essential skills -- including computer operation and World Wide Web navigation -- that they can build on throughout the program and beyond, and use in virtually any profession they choose.
This module briefly introduces the extensive range of careers for which IT-skilled individuals would be qualified. Through the technology-specific modules that follow, students explore career opportunities in more detail, develop knowledge and skills related to these professions, and discover their strengths and interests.
