Lab-Volt 3400 Series Refrigeration Trainers and Skills Trainers
The Refrigeration System Demonstrator (Model 3400) is an integrated training system that demonstrates the component designs and operating principles of refrigeration and heat pump systems. The demonstrator is mounted on a wide multi-colored panel showing refrigerant flow and change of state within the system. Four manual valves reverse refrigerant flow for demonstrations of the heat pump.
The Refrigeration System Trainer (Model 3401) provides students with intermediate-level instruction in refrigeration systems through the use of industrial devices. Equipped with a 1/2-hp semi-hermetic compressor, the unit also contains a forced-air condenser and twin forced-air evaporators that can be used individually or linked in a series. An interconnected schematic panel enables students to work individually or in pairs to perform simultaneous measurements at the main board or at the panel. Instrumentation includes a digital temperature meter; ampere, volt, and watt meters; pressure gauges; and system function lights.

Refrigerant Recovery Unit (3445)
The Refrigerant Recovery Unit, Model 3445, is part of the Lab-Volt Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Accessories. The Refrigerant Recovery System is designed to enable students to perform refrigerant recovery of a refrigeration system. The recovered refrigerant is stored in an external container. The refrigerant can then be sent to a service center to be recycled. The refrigerant can be recovered in vapor or liquid form.
