Digital Signal Processor (91027)
The students answer multiple-choice and real-number questions to demonstrate their competency in mastering the course objectives. With up to 12 circuit faults to troubleshoot and 20 circuit modifications to observe and measure, FACET-trained students master skills necessary for employment and advanced studies.
The Circuit Board is mounted in a sturdy polystyrene tray for easy handling and connection to the Base Unit. The active components are mounted in sockets for easy replacement. The Circuit Board is a multi-layer, G-10, glass-epoxy PC board with 2-ounce copper and has a black matte coating to enhance readability of circuit diagrams that appear in white.
When inserted in the FACET Base Unit, the DSP Circuit Board provides regulated ±15-volt DC power and protection to the circuit components. If it's used as a stand-alone trainer, an external dual 15-volt DC power supply is required.
