Semiconductor Devices (91005)
The objective of the Semiconductor Devices Circuit Board and Course is to familiarize students with Diodes and Half-Wave Rectification, Full-Wave Rectification with Power Supply, Filters, Zener Diode Regulator, Diode Waveshaping, Voltage Doubler, Transistor Junctions, PNP DC Bias, and Transistor Load Lines. The course provides comprehensive, hands-on instruction in the terminology, principles, and applications of semiconductors in typical circuits.
The students may take the course using the Windows™-based Tech-Lab® FACET® System (network or stand-alone) or the non-computer FACET System.
