Data Acquisition Interface (9062)
Metering Window
- Up to eighteen meters which can be configured for measuring AC/ DC voltage and current, electrical power, torque, speed, mechanical power, etc.
- Six of the eighteen meters are user-programmable for access to a larger variety of functions allowing measurement of power factor, efficiency, impedance, frequency, energy, etc.
Data Table and Graph Windows
- Values indicated by the various meters in the Metering window can be recorded in the Data Table window.
- Values recorded in the Data Table can be saved to a file (ASCII-formatted file).
- Recorded data can be used to plot graphs by selecting which parameter(s) to plot in the Graph window, thereby allowing lab results to be plotted quickly and easily.
- More sophisticated graphs can be created by exporting the contents of the Data Table window to any popular spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft® Excel or Lotus® 1-2-3, directly through the Windows Clipboard.
Oscilloscope
- Displays up to eight waveforms simultaneously, using different colors to facilitate identification.
- Each channel has independent vertical controls similar to those found on conventional oscilloscopes.
- Automatic scale setting function allowing the sensitivity of each channel to be set automatically according to the magnitude of the observed parameter.
- Time base and trigger controls similar to those found on most oscilloscopes to facilitate adjustment.
- Two vertical cursors for precise measurements at particular points on the displayed waveforms.
- Two memories for saving the displayed waveforms.
Phasor Analyzer
- Innovative instrument allowing AC power circuit analysis using the phasors related to voltages and currents instead of the values and waveforms of these voltages and currents.
- Easy monitoring of the relative amplitude and phase of circuit voltages and currents by looking at the phasors on the analyzer display. This provides a unique and dynamic display of the voltages and currents in a circuit, that cannot be obtained with conventional instruments.
- Display of the RMS value and frequency of the voltage or current related to each phasor.
Harmonic Analyzer
- Displays the harmonic components in voltages and currents.
- The fundamental frequency can be set to the AC power network frequency, set manually by the user, or set automatically to the frequency of the fundamental component of the selected voltage or current.
- Selectable number of harmonic components displayed.
- Vertical scale graduated in either absolute or relative values. Various vertical scale settings are available.
- Data displays indicating the values of the DC component, fundamental component, and harmonic components of the selected voltage or current, as well as the total harmonic distortion (THD).
- Alternate mode of operation allowing the frequency spectrum of the selected voltage or current to be displayed. Various range span and vertical scale settings are available in this mode.
- In both modes of operation, vertical and horizontal cursors for precise measurements at particular points on the display.
