Release Date: 2010-07-02

Affected Models: 8621-0x, Synchronizing Module

Problem encountered:

The pilot lamps of the Synchronizing Module do not light when the unit is used to synchronize an alternator to the power network.

Cause :

This problem is caused by diodes which are in series with the pilot lamps in the new versions of the Synchronizing Module, and also because the neutral connection of the alternator is missing in some exercises.

Solution :

The neutral point of the alternator must be connected to the neutral terminal of the Power Supply as shown in the following figure.
