0.2-kW Protective Relaying Training System (8007)
The complete system consists of five groups of modules which include Common Electrical Modules, Power System Modules (3700 Series), Protective Relaying Control Station, Protective Relays (3800 Series), and Additional and Optional Equipment.
Courseware consists of a Student Manual containing hands-on exercises in each of the module topics along with unit tests, an Instructor's Guide, and a reference textbook.
The program requires completion of courses in relay operation and calibration, and electric power technology with coverage of electric power generation, power transformers, and induction motors.
For power utility users, it is possible to combine industrial grade protective relays with a selection of modules from the Protective Relaying Training System to obtain equipment setups that correspond to existing one-line and three-line diagrams.
