Computer Numerical Control (CNC): Lathe (40009-70)
Students begin by learning to program the lathe using CNC software and to safely operate the machine. They apply these fundamental skills and knowledge by design and manufacture objects, using modern techniques.
Students create complex machine parts to meet certain specifications. As the module continues, students develop advanced skills that they use to design objects. In addition, they develop documentation to instruct users to replicate the items that the students design.
