Fundamentals of Manufacturing - Tech-World
Fundamentals of Manufacturing is an introduction to Tech-World that helps instructors meet the challenge of training independent learners.
In the first section, students are guided through the proper steps to succeed in a computer-based training (CBT) program. They become proficient in the procedures that will maximize their conceptual and skill-based learning in a non-threatening situation.As a result, they feel comfortable enough to concentrate and explore the information being presented without undue distractions.
In the second part of the Fundamentals of Manufacturing CELL, students are provided with their first experience of a computer replacing a textbook or lecture. In it students learn about the foundations of the business world, such as, corporate structure, marketing, design and manufacturing processes, and production technologies.
This experience provides both the practice they need to feel comfortable with the new educational platform, and sets them on their journey towards discovering all that high tech manufacturing has to offer!
